First: I cannot live without my searzall! I cook nary a meal without reaching for it! It's almost perfect!!!!! Haha, that being said: Has anyone else experienced a front screen bulge? I'm pretty sure I seasoned the unit correctly when I got it. It started about a week after I got the unit (one of the first ones from the kickstarter). I feel like it is giving me a little bit of a hot spot....

Hi Oren,
That looks perfectly normal. Glad you're enjoying your Searzall!

Mine looks exactly like that too. I also have the feeling that it gives me a little hotspot , although it could just be that it's a high point in the center. And having the heat focused there is not a really bad thing.

Yup, mine did that the first time I used it (when I seasoned it) and hasn't changed since then. I was mildly concerned that it was going to continue to deform, but it hasn't so far after a handful of uses.

I purchased my Searzall on November 12 2014. I am on my 4th tank of gas as of today. I will have to replace the screens pretty soon I think but I have really used the broiler since I purchased it.

The new screens are in my wish list on Amazon. These screens have done well. I think the bulge may be influenced by gas flow pressure along with the heat but I'm not sure. I still have the second set of screens that originally came with my Searzall as well.
Update, 18 June: Screens replaced and seasoned. Already used it on a turkey tenderloin.

Get Amazon to change the status on those products, so they are equally shippable outside US as the Searzall, it's hilarious that one cannot buy these screens from Amazon also. (and same with the decorator). The product are arranged so the Searzall are sold by Searzall, the two others are sold by Booker & Dax.
